As the name suggests, a pencil pleat heading is best described as a row of pencils. This heading gives a neat finish to your curtains at a reasonable cost. The pencil pleat tape needs to be gathered to your required width. This is a versatile tape which can be used with a track or pole and is generally supplied with three hook positions, allowing some flexibility when hanging them.

Pencil pleat curtains look stylish in contemporary or period homes.

A double or triple pinch pleat heading will give a stylish and permanent pleat to your curtains. It is important to carefully measure your track or pole, as curtains are made to an exact fit. Our made to measure service means your curtains will have hand sewn pinch pleats using buckram to help form the pleats.

This heading gives a lovely tailored finish which is equally at home in a modern or traditional setting.

Eyelets give a contemporary finish to your curtains so are best suited to a modern home. Eyelets (metal rings) are threaded through your pole and are available in a number of finishes to suit your décor, for example silver, chrome or brass.  They are easy to install, easy to operate and involve little or no dressing as they form columns of fabric which fall into soft pronounced folds. They need less fullness than gathered headings and so can be more cost effective.

40mm eyelets can go up to a maximum of a 28mm diameter pole. 50mm eyelets can go up to a maximum of a 35mm diameter pole. 66mm eyelets can go up to a maximum of a 50mm diameter pole.

A tab top heading is a contemporary heading. The pole threads through the tabs, forming soft folds.  They are not suitable for rooms where you need to exclude the light, as the light will shine between the tab tops and the main curtain.

Goblet headings are used to create a formal, luxurious look that makes a bold statement in a traditional or contemporary setting.

This is a modern look which suits all fabrics. The curtain header tape is set down which creates a flap falling over the curtain top. This is then scrunched to create a puffball effect - beautiful!

Wave headings need a specialist pole or track and are ideal for a contemporary home. This is a stylish heading which gives a soft rippling effect. It looks stunning when used in a room which has a wall of glass or a large window. This style stacks back very efficiently and so maximises the light.

We can supply tracks and poles up to 12 metres wide which can accommodate even the largest windows. Fabrics hang in wide, even folds, creating a contemporary, soft, rippling finish that is perfect for modern homes. Voiles or sheers are often made with a wave heading.
