Curtains Measuring Guide
Measuring your windows is simple. First measure the width. Then measure the drop. If you have chosen an eyelet heading, you need to add an amount for where the curtain stands above the pole.
Width (all headings)
Measure the entire width of your pole or track. If you don’t have a pole or track in place, measure the width of your window recess and allow for any overlap (we recommend adding 30cm).
Drop (eyelet heading / tab top)
Measure the distance from the top of the pole down to where you would like them to hang to. We recommend to 1cm above the floor or 4cm below the window sill. Now add 3cm to this length (this is the amount of curtain above the eyelet hole). This gives your finished length.
Drop (all other headings)
Measure the distance from the top of the track or if you have a pole, the bottom of the ornamental ring down to where you would like them to hang to. We recommend 1cm above the floor or 4cm below the window sill.
